The University of Massachusetts (or UMASS) School of Nursing offers to its students degree programs at the baccalaureate level, as well as the master’s level and the doctoral level. Of the 159 nursing graduates of the School of Nursing who took the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) in 2009 the pass rate for all test takers was 91.5 percent while the pass rate for all first time test takers was 85.0 percent.
If you are looking to go into nursing right out of high school and had a high SAT score then your best options for schools include the University of Massachusetts (as described above), BC and Northeastern.
